# This is what the line of succession to the English crown looks like now

I have one question about this list: does it really mean that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have named their children ARCHIE and LILIBET?

All this time I had assumed these were diminutives of some Arnold-Joseph and Elizabeth-Maria-Remarque. But Archie and Lilibet, for people who will, in principle, not remain infants all their lives, and who are somehow connected with the legacy of a royal house... It is almost like naming a son Fluffy and a daughter, say, Tiny!

It is, of course, most sad that a medical examination as to sanity is carried out when a will is drawn up, but not when a birth certificate is filled in
