Saint Bernard of Clairvaux Drinks the Breast Milk of the Virgin Mary, Who Is Nursing the Infant Jesus.

This curious subject spread from Spain and is connected with an apocryphal tale of a vision of the Abbot of Clairvaux, in which the Mother of God directed a jet of her breast milk to his lips, and with that milk he imbibed divine learning and the gift of oratory.
