The total proceeds of Christie's "Post-War to Present" sale, held on 27 February, came to $21.3 million, [reports artnews.com.](https://www.artnews.com/art-news/market/christies-post-war-present-spring-auction-helen-frankenthaler-ed-ruscha-1234734045/?ref=theparnassian.com) The most expensive lot of the evening was Helen Frankenthaler's abstraction *Concerto*, dated 1982\. The lot went under the hammer for $2.1 million dollars.

Of the 217 lots offered, 55 remained unsold. Among the works that failed to find buyers were pieces by Keith Haring, Ai Weiwei, Takashi Murakami and Alexander Calder.
