The architect Luis Barragán's own house, built in 1947 in Tacubaya, Mexico. Barragán, one of the most influential architects of the twentieth century, lived in this house until 1988\. It was originally designed merely as an extension to his studio, but in the end it is now recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site
