# The Cathedral of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos in Melbourne, Australia

It turns out that in Orthodox churches in Australia the "Our Father" is also recited in English. It sounds very unfamiliar. The text, as I understand it, is taken from Protestant translations.

I consider it an excellent aid for those learning the language. Save it, and do not forget to say your prayers!

Our Father,  
Which art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.  
Thy kingdom come,  
Thy will be done in earth as it is in Heaven.  
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.  
And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil: for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever!
