Now would be just the moment to flee to Switzerland in a Rolls-Royce, with the boot full of gold bars and two million francs under the leather back seat, even if in old-issue notes, from before the 1960 redenomination, and most certainly with a distinguished Louis Vuitton travel set: a suite of luggage, dog harness, key ring, jerrycan, bottle holder, dinner service, picnic furniture, toaster, thermos flask, sunbathing reflector and a handbag for jewels, which, admittedly, are already by Boucheron Paris. In short, an unmistakable "mummy, buy it for me".

It is in a carriage of precisely this specification that, during the May disturbances of 1968 in France, the comic pair of timorous bourgeois, Jacques and Giselle Paniveau, try to make a hasty escape from Paris in Gérard Oury's comedy *La Folie des grandeurs*.
