# Riviera Palace in France partly converted into apartments as restoration work continues

The Riviera Palace is not in the best of states at present, of course. The century of its grandeur has passed, when expensive motor cars crowded before the main entrance, celebrities lounged within and fountains of iced water bubbled. Now part of the building has been remodelled and the public spaces converted into apartments, the famous blue balustrade is in need of restoration, and the ceremonial stucco has grown shabby. Yet active work is under way to restore not only the architectural elements but the infrastructure as well. Before long this monument of France's historical heritage should shine anew, and the price of the square metres here will surely leap too 😏
