Almost 15 years have passed since the release of the film «Vysotsky. Thank God I'm Alive», and since then, it seems, the media have rarely recalled the Soviet Union's foremost bard. And now CHTIVO is bringing out an issue devoted entirely to Vladimir Vysotsky.

I am still waiting for the magazine, since the issue is a collector's one: I placed a pre-order on Ozon well in advance (it seems to be still available to order). The first things I shall read are the interview with Vysotsky's younger son and the column by Konstantin Ernst: such authorship is an event in itself.

We shall see whether the issue provokes a fresh wave of interest in the person of Vladimir Semyonovich.
