# On 12 March the 12th season of the Open Studios project began at the Vinzavod Centre for Contemporary Art

On 12 March the 12th season of the Open Studios project began at the Vinzavod Centre for Contemporary Art. The participants of the new season are the artists Pavel Grishin, Katya Zhilina, Alina Zolotykh, Karolina Roslyak, Polina Rukavichkina, Tamara Serdtseva, Varvara Silantyeva, Lena Solovyeva, Andrey Soul and Maria Stadnik.

Open Studios combines the functions of a workshop, a residency and an art school on the premises of one of Russia's leading art institutions, the Vinzavod Centre for Contemporary Art. The project helps artists take their first steps in the creative and commercial spheres under the guidance of experienced professionals. Participants work with mentors, receive individual professional consultations, and take part in collective projects, artist talks and masterclasses. For visitors it is a unique chance to watch works of art being made, and for collectors, to meet the future stars of contemporary art while they are still in the making.
