The Russian Museum has shown Deineka's monumental panels for the first time in 50 years at the exhibition "Alexander Deineka. Singer of the New Life". The project is timed to coincide with the 125th anniversary of the eminent Soviet artist.

The exhibition presents about 90 works from the Russian Museum's collection. Of particular value are the large-format mosaics "Morning" and "Hockey Players", restored by conservators especially for the exhibition.

The exhibition will run until 14 April
