# It Doesn't Get More Romantic

A small town museum in Canada has posted a photograph of the names Benny and Linda, carved into a school desk. The author of the inscription replied in the comments and told the story of his love.

Benny fell in love with Linda Nowicki in the fourth grade and resolved there and then to tie his life to hers for good. "The smartest decision of my life," writes Benny. He carved his own name and that of his beloved into the desk in his final years at school, a year before he went up to university. Fifty years on, the couple are still together, and have three daughters.

This was in 2021, but news like this can never go stale 📌
