The working chair of Prince Nikolai Borisovich Yusupov, made by his serfs. Nikolai Borisych loved rarities and everything he had spotted on his many journeys (he visited the courts of numerous monarchs and counted Voltaire and Saint-Germain among his friends), and he would bring these things home and try to introduce them into his own house. For the eighteenth century, such a piece of furniture was a genuine sensation. The chair on wheels was convenient for working in the library and for moving between the cabinets, some of which have also survived in the estate.
