I remember the summer of 2021, when it was being said that the construction of the Triangle Tower in Paris might rest on unlawful bureaucratic foundations, bound up with corruption and pressure on officials; the prosecutor's office then opened a preliminary inquiry into suspected "favouritism" and "concealment of favouritism" surrounding the project. Now we see the outline of the new, ugly building on the skyline and understand that the investigation is advancing more slowly than the tower itself. And, to all appearances, the Masonic symbolism that has recently appeared on the Champ de Mars, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, will very soon be joined by this symbol of the Illuminati, in honour of the present masters of the political elites.

I understand that every architectural novelty meets with the same remarks: the Eiffel Tower… how dreadful! The Louvre Pyramid… how dreadful! The Grande Arche de la Défense… how dreadful! The Triangle Tower… how dreadful! But the trouble is that with each turn the dreadfulness grows more striking, and its creators more brazen.
