# Girlfriends Meet over a Glass of Sparkling Wine to Talk About Princes

The photograph was taken at the wedding of Archduke Ferdinand of Austria and Countess Helene Toerring-Jettenbach in April 1956.

Theodora, Olga and Kira are great-great-granddaughters of Nicholas I, and are related to one another to varying degrees on both their mothers' and their fathers' sides. Theodora and Olga are first cousins. So are Olga and Kira. Kira Kirillovna is the elder sister of Vladimir Kirillovich Romanov and the paternal aunt of the present head of the Russian Imperial House, Maria Vladimirovna Romanova.
