Diorite is one of the hardest stones. But the remarkable feature of this sculpture is its composition: before us stands a statue that changes with the angle of view. Look at it from the front and you see the pharaoh's perfect face; from the side the god Horus appears, protecting him; examined from behind, only the powerful silhouette of the head is visible
