# Carnations in the shop windows of KM20 in the city's Victory Day decorations

Took the trouble to walk over to KM20 and look at the carnation displays. A good, handsome symbol for a very important holiday. For those who are not aware, this year decorating buildings for Victory Day is compulsory in the city, just as it used to be compulsory for New Year. And in my view carnations, which are bound up with the image of Victory Day alongside the eternal flame, the St George ribbon, laurel branches and bunches of wildflowers, are an excellent solution. If you imagine this building decked out in St George ribbons and medals, the carnations win by a wide margin
