I am greatly impressed that the main building of RSUH on Miusskaya Square has opened a museum-workshop of [Leonardo da Vinci](https://theparnassian.com/soznatelno-ne-pishu-mogila-da-vinchi-potomu-chto-ego-nastoiashchaia-mogila-byla-uteriana-vo-vremia-gugenotskikh-voin/?ref=theparnassian.com), with models of his [inventions](https://theparnassian.com/odno-iz-liubimykh-izobretenii-da-vinchi/?ref=theparnassian.com) that one may not merely touch but test: every mechanism is in working order, except, of course, the bombard on a worm gear and the armoured vehicle designed for ten strong men. I presume the opening is timed to coincide with the [500th anniversary](https://theparnassian.com/segodnia-mir-otmechaet-piatisotletie-ukhoda-iz-zhizni-da-vinchi/?ref=theparnassian.com) of the genius's death, which is being marked throughout 2019\. The museum has been ingeniously housed on the corner staircase, with exhibits arranged on every flight from the first floor to the sixth. It is all done superbly, to the great delight of my soul. And greetings to all the RSUH folk who follow me 🤚🏿

On a more serious note, it is pleasing to observe that under the new rector Bezborodov the buildings of RSUH have been transformed as never before, and even the flights and corridors that had long stood in desolation have been dressed in new parquet and fresh plaster.
