I hope my analogies will not unduly trouble anyone, but judge for yourselves: the bird-catcher Papageno from "The Magic Flute", especially as played by Lucien Fugère, is the very image of Ernie the Giant Chicken from "Family Guy", locked in combat with Peter - well, let us say, as with the Moor Monostatos. And love, as far as I recall, is mixed up in both plots - and the eternal opposition of dualistic principles, naturally. I could not recall the episode in which Peter plucked Ernie's face, but the resemblance there is striking 😄
