My friends at the architecture studio [SKNYPL](https://www.instagram.com/sknypl?ref=theparnassian.com) have devised and built a rather splendid modular shelving unit, CABINET+, which assembles like a construction set into a large storage section, yet on its own transforms into a cupboard, a writing desk and two stool-cum-cabinets. This year it is being shown at the Belgian exhibition of contemporary collectible design [Collectible.](https://www.instagram.com/sknypl/?ref=theparnassian.com) The unit is made of beech, the configuration allows the sections to be joined in any manner whatsoever and, naturally, a unit of any size can be made. As you will have gathered, I am already trying the novelty on for size in my own flat
