# The author studies readers' Yandex Zen search queries, from Maximilian to the Parthenon

Some would call it a chore, but to me it is a rather entertaining pastime: getting to know my readers and studying the search queries that lead to my [Yandex.Zen](https://zen.yandex.ru/captainpaleo?ref=theparnassian.com). What I mean to say is that it is very pleasant to bring together people who would like to see the Emperor of Mexico [Maximilian in his coffin](https://theparnassian.com/grob-maksimiliana-gabbsburga-ertsgertsoga-avstriiskogo-imperatora-meksiki-votsarivshegosia-blagodaria-pomoshchi-napoleona-iii-i-v-rezultate-tak-nazyvaemogo-plebistsita/?ref=theparnassian.com), to recall the [verses](https://theparnassian.com/leningradtsy-deti-moi/?ref=theparnassian.com) of [Dzhambul](https://theparnassian.com/kazakhskii-poet-dzhambul-proslavilsia-ochen-pozdno-izvestnym-on-stal-tolko-v-1936-godu-buduchi-uzhe-ochen-starym/?ref=theparnassian.com), to learn the fate of the [women of the Golden Horde](https://t.me/captainpaleo/1355?ref=theparnassian.com) and of [women morphine addicts](https://theparnassian.com/neredko-govoria-o-zaniatnykh-bezdelitsakh-proshlogo-upominaiut-kokainnitsy-i-ikh-sushchestvovanie-malo-udivliaet-mol-chem-tolko-liudi-v-starinu-ne-razvlekalis/?ref=theparnassian.com), and, as a biscuit of a quite separate kind, to take an interest in my modest person, an interest almost equal to that in the difference between the [Parthenon and the Pantheon](https://theparnassian.com/v-rossiiskom-voge-vostorzhenno-pishut-o-sitsiliiskom-shou-dolce-gabbana-alta-moda/?ref=theparnassian.com)
