The crowns of queens consort worn at the coronations of their husbands. Left: the crown of Alexandra of Denmark at the coronation of Edward VII in 1902\. Right: the crown of Mary of Teck at the coronation of George V in 1911\. Centre: the crown of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon at the coronation of George VI in 1937\. At the coronation of Charles III, Queen Camilla will be crowned with Queen Mary's crown, from which four of the eight arches will be removed, giving it a more classical look, and to which the Koh-i-Noor diamond may be added, the stone that adorned the crown of the Queen Mother at the coronation of George VI and Elizabeth II, as well as the crowns of Mary of Teck and Alexandra of Denmark.
