The concert hall of the [Kaliningrad Regional Philharmonic](http://kenigfil.ru/?ref=theparnassian.com) will sound anew: the building is to be renovated and given a new multifunctional, as is now the fashion, cultural space with new lightsoundvideo equipment and venues for lectures, masterclasses and other activities. Curiously, the reorientation of the Philharmonic's premises will proceed under the Russia-Lithuania cross-border cooperation programme for 2020-2021\. To hear nowadays of any live international projects involving Russia is not merely pleasant but even somehow astonishing. The Philharmonic building is the neo-Gothic German Church of the Holy Family, built in 1907 to the design of the architect Friedrich Heitmann, badly damaged in the war and put to utilitarian uses in the following decades, until in 1980 the Philharmonic appeared here
