When a writer is said to be unjustly forgotten, it is worth asking: how is it determined whether a person has been forgotten deservedly or not? Is there some committee that establishes this? Or is it estimated by eye? Tatishchev, for instance, is unjustly forgotten, whereas Kheraskov is quite deservedly so
