Karl Lagerfeld's Art Library in Paris, on the 7th Floor of 7 Rue de Lille.

Lagerfeld's personal library consists of tens of thousands of books, gathered and arranged by Karl himself. The library occupies a room beneath a large glass skylight. In the adjoining space was his photographic studio.

After Lagerfeld's death, the library, its premises, furnishings and all the books were acquired by Chanel so as to preserve them just as they were in his lifetime. The library has remained untouched, exactly as it was when Lagerfeld worked in it.

The library operates on a semi-closed basis, for private events, performances and visits by members of the friends' club.
