# Polling station on Bondi Beach in Sydney during Australia's parliamentary elections

Want to know what is going on in the photo? This is how the Parliamentary elections were held in Australia, at least at the polling station on one of the country's most popular beaches, Bondi Beach in Sydney. True, the outer clothing of some of the visitors gives away that it is winter in Australia just now, but Bondi is one of the centres of winter swimming, so the fellows in swimming trunks are hardened winter bathers, one of them even in a woollen hat.
