What Colour Can Moonstone Be?

The ancient Romans supposed that moonstone, with its unearthly shimmer, had been formed from solidified moonlight.

The most valuable is considered to be blue moonstone, the more intense the shade, the higher the price; the rarest is pink, the commonest is white, and the least known is green, for it lacks the characteristic play of light.
