How to Enjoy Speculations and Fakes at the New Exhibition at Garage?

At the height of the pandemic, the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art invited artists to reflect on the future, and the result is a large exhibition, ["Choosing Distance: Speculations, Fakes, Forecasts in the Age of the Coronacene"](https://lumos.art/art/speculations-and-fakes-in-garage-museum/?ref=theparnassian.com). The artists have made sense of the new, ambiguous reality in 33 ironic projects, while Garage's exhibition space itself has turned into a playing field, as in an arcade. Two hundred thousand years ago (give or take) I prepared an account of a stroll through this exhibition, and now, at last, the text has been published in a new media outlet about art. Armed with this material, you may quite well take yourself round the exhibition on a self-guided tour and, as it were, collect the missing information and tricks for completing the arcade at a new level.
