Speaking of aristocrats and art: on the upper floor of MAMM, an archival exhibition by Lauren Greenfield on the life of the Moscow post-Soviet elite, a photographic project of 2012-2014 in which the artist set out to capture the daily life and pretensions of Russia's wealthy. This is the very series in which Ilona Stolie, in an I’m a luxury sweater by Walk of shame, uttered the famous line "fences have become part of our mentality". Also pictured here is Princess Natalya Golitsyna of the Mikhailovskaya branch of the illustrious family, with her husband Alexey Binetsky, likewise of noble descent. Golitsyna is the great-granddaughter of Sofya Alexandrovna Golitsyna (née Vyazemskaya) (1859-1941) and Prince Alexander Borisovich Golitsyn (1855-1920); her grandfather and grandmother stayed on in the Soviet Union and were repressed, her mother lived through the Great Patriotic War, and Natalya herself is a cultural scholar and art historian
