The motto on a commemorative medal with a most unusual obverse design.

An eagle with a sceptre and orb in its talons soars in the rays of the All-Seeing Eye above a curious device: a minting screw press, a balancier.

The medal was struck in 1763 to mark the Establishment of Sound Coinage, that is, the beginning of the recoining of the copper light-weight coins issued until then.

The author of the medal was Timofey Ivanovich Ivanov, a state medallist and the creator of almost all the dies for the obverses of the rouble coins bearing the portrait of Catherine II.
