Shift Gallery, together with Set Projects Gallery, is holding an exhibition of surrealist graphic art. It is said that surrealism as such no longer exists in our day, but Dasha Kuznetsova and her colleagues recall the surrealist manifesto and refute the claim by showing splendid, mostly young, artists who create work in this vein. In the tiny space of Set Projects in Gostiny Dvor are displayed the works of Anastasia Rybakova (drawings in red pencil and a plush hogweed monster), the incredible adventures of Vladislava Tarasova's mane of hair, as well as the fantastical graphic work of Victoria Bodrova, a sheet recalling the removals of the band MishMash, and drawings by Pasha Tsakhilov and Yulia Petrova.
