Only yesterday, space seemed inaccessible, frightening and far away. Today, everything is different. Every day, without a second thought, we use space technologies: when we talk to friends and family by satellite link, check the weather forecast or consult a satnav. Trainers, smartphones, memory-foam pillows, crisp packets and many other everyday objects entered our lives thanks to the development of the space sector. The exhibition "What Has Space Got to Do with It" at the Museum of Cryptography, opening on 4 October, will tell the story of space's influence on our present and our future.

For the first three days of the exhibition, from 4 to 6 October, guests can look forward to concerts of experimental electronic music, lectures, performances for children and adults, a workshop and a film screening. Do not miss the comic event of the year!
