Kusturica has said that he will shoot his next film in Saint Petersburg and Siberia. It is to be called “Crime Without Punishment”, a blend of “The Idiot” and “Crime and Punishment”.

After Dostoevsky, Kusturica intends to set about adapting Yevgeny Vodolazkin’s international bestseller “Laurus”, and then something from Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol.
