# A 2,300-year-old ceremonial horse headdress found on the skeleton of a horse in the frozen tombs of Pazyryk in Siberia

Eight of the ten horses in the Pazyryk kurgan were arranged in two rows with their heads turned to the east, while two horses in the western part of the burial were oriented with their heads to the south.
