People went on procuring food outside agricultural practices, despite their appearance.

When I hear scientific conclusions of this kind, I am never quite sure: is this the result of some extraterrestrial ethnographic expedition? For whom, other than extraterrestrials, could it possibly come as a surprise that people still obtain their food today by hunting and fishing, despite the existence not merely of farming but even of supermarkets
