# Until the end of 2025, a 13-metre copy of the ancient Colossus of Constantine, which once stood in the apse of the Basilica of Maxentius in the Roman Forum, can be seen in the grounds of the Villa Caffarelli, part of the Capitoline Museums complex

The reconstructed statue of the seated emperor in a gilded tunic, with a sceptre and an orb in his hands, was shown in Milan last year as part of the Recycling Beauty exhibition. It is a pity that nowhere is anything said about the mass of the gigantic sculpture or about the preparatory work, such as strengthening the foundations so that marble of such weight could be installed
