# Ladies, Put Your Names Down for Tiaras!

In the historic Maison Chaumet on the Place Vendôme in Paris, an unprecedented exhibition of jewels from the jewellery house of Chaumet, entitled “Napoleon and Joséphine”, is running until the middle of July.

I was fortunate enough to visit the colossal [exhibition](https://theparnassian.com/na-vystavke-doma-shome-predstavlena-velikolepnaia-traditsiia-voskhodiashchaia-k-xvii-veku-corbeille-de-mariage-ili-svadebnaia-korzina/?ref=theparnassian.com) of Chaumet's treasures in the summer of 2019 and I am still under its spell. I am very glad to have bought the weighty catalogue of the exhibition, a veritable encyclopaedia of high jewellery.
