A man does not yet enjoy freedom from action when he does not begin what he ought to do, nor does he attain bliss from perfect inaction. No one remains in inaction for a single minute. Every man is involuntarily compelled to act according to the principles native to his nature. The man who restricts his active faculties and is content with the striving of his soul towards sensual objects is called a man possessing an erring soul, and a practitioner of deceit. But he deserves praise who, having subdued all his passions, performs with his active faculties all the affairs of life, taking no thought for the consequence. Perform the tasks appointed to thee. Action has superiority over inaction. The journey of thy mortal form will not succeed by action
