There are flat-museums, open-air museums, museums that are natural sites, tiny little museums and, for instance, museums on wheels. One such train has set off from Russia for Belarus. It is planned to travel around the country from 11 to 28 June, and the number of potential visitors is put at tens of thousands.

The "Victory Train" is a historic rolling stock filled with exhibits devoted to the Great Patriotic War. Each carriage is conceived as a separate hall with its own story, told in the form of an immersive installation.

The most valuable thing about this project is, of course, the possibility of moving an entire museum about so that thousands of people in the remotest regions and small towns, where cultural life is at times confined to a half-ruined House of Culture, can become acquainted with the exhibition.

For the first three days the train stands in Minsk; after that it follows the route Orsha, Vitebsk, Polotsk, Grodno, Brest, Gomel and Mogilev, where the museum train will stop on 27-28 June, just in time for the day of the city's liberation from the German-fascist invaders.
