The wristbands come in different colours, as they were issued on different days. The administration of the marketplace promised to remove all these listings, though it is unclear on what grounds: what exactly is unlawful about them? Some of the listings do indeed no longer open. It is understandable that in the days when the Queen had not yet been laid to rest, the greatest demand was for unused wristbands, which gave the right to a place in the queue; now it is collectors who are interested in buying. But £45,100 for a slip of paper of no artistic or historical value is, of course, madness
