Athens today. And the level of snow in Greece on this same day from 2005 to 2020\. Heavy snowfalls occur in Northern Greece almost every year, even on the islands. In Southern Greece, including Athens, they are rarer, but in modern times they are still quite usual: snowfalls here come every 5-7 years.
