15 March, the day of the Hieromartyr Theodotus, Bishop of Cyrenia, is marked in the folk calendar as Fedot the Wind-Bringer, Fedot the Snow-Drift, Fedot of Spring, Gale-Whirlers.

> Evdokia never asked Fedot, and got the spring ready anyway. And he: now he tears the roof off the shed, now he wrecks the woodpile, worrying the menfolk.

The weather on this day was believed to show what the summer would be like. So far it seems warm? Plus one, after all
