# On 15 May 1957 the twins Jean and Margaretha were born to Prince Jean of Luxembourg and Princess Joséphine-Charlotte of Belgium

On 15 May 1957 the twins Jean and Margaretha were born to Prince Jean of Luxembourg and Princess Joséphine-Charlotte of Belgium. Jean and Margaretha were the third and fourth children of their parents. In 1964 their father became Grand Duke of Luxembourg; the country is now ruled by their elder brother Henri. Jean is married morganatically and has four children. Margaretha is married to a Prince of Liechtenstein, with whom she has three children.
